The 1205CXB – the new ultra-low noise copper cable analyzer from Radiodetection
1205CXB Metallic Cable Analyzer TDR was designed to help find cable faults quickly and easily.
It has an ultra-clean, low noise signal and a large color display. These combine with having all the TDR controls on-screen to create one of the easiest to use precision tools for findingcable faults in the industry.
Ultra-clean, low Noise Signals
Spot cable issues clearly in the crystal-clear waveforms without having to hunt through the noise.
Easy to use
All TDR functions are available at the top level, with no additional screens or menus to search through. This makes the 1205CXB a quick and highly effective tool for new and experienced users alike, minimizing training and reducing time and costs.
Automatic Scanning
Let the 1205CXB find the faults for you. For additional flexibility, you can set the threshold of the seriousness of the problem you want the 1205CXB to find.
Automatic and manual Cursor Placement Functions
The 1205CXB features two independent cursors and automatically calculates the distance between them as their placement changes giving straightforward positioning of cable problems.
Multipurpose USB Port
The USB-A port makes it easy to view and export your data, and to charge the battery.
Waveform Storage Options and Flexibility
Choose whether to save waveforms to USB memory stick, as bmp image files or as btr files, or to on-board memory. View and analyze btr files with Radiodetection’s easily configurable WaveView™ PC software.
Automatic dBRL Calculation
The 1205CXB calculates the Return Fault at both cursors automatically, saving you time finding the most serious faults.
Cables do not have to be Cables!
Use the 1205CXB to analyze a huge variety of different cable types – coax, twisted pair, aerial, low voltage power and others. You can also use them in applications where, for example, a change such as a water leak in a district heating system, affects the VOP between two conductors.
WaveView™ PC Software
Understand and report your analysis with WaveView™
Radiodetection’s WaveView™3.0 PC program lets you examine and interpret on-site waveforms in unprecedented detail, and to generate reports for your client and office.
Pan and zoom to scrutinize every detail of the waveform to pinpoint and diagnose cable faults. Add notes, assess Return Loss (dBRL) figures and even correct mistakes such as VOP errors made on site.
